Variables

Reuse values such as URLs and IDs across workflows with $vars.

Variables are values you reuse across workflows: an API base URL, a Slack channel, a sender number, a price list ID. Change them in one place instead of editing every workflow.

Create variables

Go to Overview → Variables and add a key and a value. Keys use letters, numbers and underscores, for example SHOP_URL.

Use them

In any expression: {{ $vars.SHOP_URL }}. In a Code node: $vars.SHOP_URL.

Variables or credentials?

Variables are visible to everyone who can edit workflows, so never put passwords, tokens or API keys in them. Use credentials for secrets.

Variables are available on the Pro plan and above.
